Found it at edigitalwireless.com for $129. Sounds like a good deal, built-in PoE and 200mW for $129. What more could you want... WET11 ($80) + Linksys PoE ($35) makes it around $125 including taxes. Too bad I havent done my research earlier and now have to cope with this low-power wet11 bridge, buying a senao card to upgrade the radio would cost even more. *Sigh* EDIT: you still gotta buy a POE injector, costs the same as the whole poe kit, around $40.

Be careful. The new Linksys WET11 v2 cannot be upgraded in this fashion.

All new WET11 are the v2 model, unless there's some old stock lying about.

Seems that the v2 has less power and range, but newer firmware. I'm getting '50%' signal strength connected to sflan7_0, so far so good.

Yes I see now on the bottom it says FCC ID: Q87-WET11V2. So they are not upgradeable in terms of another radio card? This is really saddening.

v2 has a cisco logo on the box, also Cisco sticker (in addition to Linksys) on the top of the WET11. I bought v2 without realizing the chipset is now soldered directly onto the board vs. v1 has a card you can switch out for a more powerful card like the , which incidently is $18:

if you really want to use the WET11 i'm sure you can find one on eBay. i got mine there after the new v2 one i bought wasn't easy to mod. ask the seller if the box mentions Cisco...you can also put together POE a bit cheaper than buying it retail...do a search and it'll tell you how to build power over the ethernet.
